Withdrawal “Desire” Lathe Cut 7”
DESIRE
“DESIRE” is a cautionary tale for anyone foolish enough to follow their dreams. A grim reminder that time makes victims of us all. At what point do you accept defeat?
A funeral for who you wanted to be, an anthem for who you are forced to become.
Musically, “DESIRE” is Withdrawal embracing a slow, caustic, pummeling pace. Picture THOU if they were transported in time and playing the HATEBREED “Satisfaction Is The Death Of Desire” record release. Or maybe MERAUDER if they were on pills that make your heart slow to a crawl and stop. CATHARSIS if they were really into ACID BATH. In other words, remorselessly heavy.
This song features guest performances by our friends and co-conspirators Sam (Territory), Stephen (Skinfather, Creatures), Mike (Bad Beat), Lopez (Coppermouth) and Jason (Low-Life).
“DEDICATED TO THOSE WHO LOST THEIR LIVES DROWNING IN HOPE.”
THIS 7” IS A LIMITED PRESSING OF 40, NEVER TO BE REPRESSED. THESE WON’T EXIST LONG.
Lathe cut records don’t sound quite as good as a traditional pressed record as there is some loss of volume and fidelity. That said, they sound good enough and these will look sick.
Clear vinyl.
Streaming? You gotta trust us for now, it’ll be out there when we’re ready.
